TIME FOR OPTIMISM

Some people are naturally optimistic—“Don’t worry, be happy!” They tend to worry less and have less stress. Webster defines optimism as…

“Expecting the most favorable outcome; Belief that good will ultimately triumph over evil and that virtue will be rewarded.”

A “favorable outcome” depends upon your outlook. For the Christian we must learn to take a long view of things. To see from God’s perspective.

Isaiah 42:4 says, “He will not falter or be discouraged until He establishes justice on earth.”

We follow His example with persevering optimism. We trust in Christ working in us and through us.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
